Our Visitor from the Houses of Parliament

This week, we were delighted to welcome a visitor from the Houses of Parliament to our school. They spoke to the children about Parliament, how laws are made, and why democracy is such an important part of life in the UK.
This visit built on the learning the children did during Parliament Week last term, and our KS2 children were highly engaged throughout—asking thoughtful questions and showing real curiosity about how decisions are made in our country.
We are very proud that our pupils understand that their voices matter. They know they can share their ideas, suggest changes, and write to our local MP if there is something they feel passionate about.
