Admissions & Induction - How Parents and Carers should apply

Our school is home to 540 children.

Our admission limit is 60 children for 2026/2027 and should applications exceed that number, we would look at:

  • Special Needs and circumstances
  • Siblings of older brothers and/or sisters
  • Proximity to school

We aim to cater for the needs of all children in the School and we have strategies to encourage those who might have some problems and are under achieving as well as those who display gifted or talented characteristics.

When to apply:

Child's date of birth - 1 September 2021 – 31 August 2022

  • When to apply - 1 October 2025 – 15 January 2026
  • For September 2026

Child's date of birth - 1 September 2022 – 31 August 2023

  • When to apply - 1 October 2026 – 15 January 2027
  • For September 2027

Child's date of birth - 1 September 2023 - 31 August 2024

  • When to apply - 1 October 2027 - 15 January 2028
  • For September 2028

 

Important Dates for September 2026 Intake

  • Online application available - 1 October 2025
  • Return date for paper application forms - 15 January 2026 by 5pm*
  • Return date for online applications - 15 January 2026 by midnight*
  • Decision emails to parents - 16 April 2026 by 2pm
  • Decision letters to parents - 16 April 2026 by 2nd class post
  • Appeals to be heard - June/July 2026

How to submit your application

If you live in the Dudley borough, you should either apply online at www.dudley.gov.uk/admissions or complete a paper application which is available on request from the School Admissions Service. You should state all of your school preferences up to a maximum of five in rank order. For all school admissions we recommend that you apply online,  this means you will receive your decision via email by 2pm on the offer date.
